Toledo 29 Eastern Michigan 28 – Nasty loss for the Eagles as they blew a 19-7 halftime lead and fell behind 29-22, then tied it up on a final play 36-yard HAIL MARY…..oh wait, THEY DIDN’T tie it up because ANALYTICS GUY told them to go for two points so they could lose in the worst way possible, Toledo wins 29-28…#TrustTheScience…..Eastern Michigan’s season goal was to get to a bowl game and they’ve got five wins…..Smart move would have been to go to OT and let the entire team settle the game….Sixth win so important and now ANALTYICS GUY should be sent to the bottom of the ocean **.

** ANALYTICS GUY is also a great fan of the 4th down and one inch play call where you snap the ball back five yards and run some high tech run-pass option that loses four yards. QB sneaks that work every time are just not advanced enough in the year 2024.

Buffalo 41 Akron 30 – Big win for the Bulls who are now 5-4 and on track to make a bowl game, There are four teams ahead of them in the MAC race but the Bulls have a very easy schedule coming home, Misleading final as Akron had a 452-393 yard edge but they were (-4) in turnover margin.

Wyoming 49 New Mexico 45 – Nasty outcome for LOBO NATION as Wyoming scores a pair of TDs in the 4Q to win the game, 604-576 yard edge for Wyoming, nice game from their QB Kaden Anderson 342, 3-1 TD to INT, Lobos somehow lost a game in which they had a pair of 200-yard rushers.

Colorado St 38 Nevada 21 – Yes, guy….Don’t look now but the KOOKY Colorado St Rams are one of two undefeated teams in MW play (Boise St)….Bit of a misleading final as Nevada won the yardage battle 441-323 but were (-2) in t/o margin.

Georgia Southern 34 South Alabama 30 – Jags looked like they were home and cooled up 30-14 after the 3Q, then they inexplicably SHAT the BED, Georgia Southern scores 20 quick points and not only covers, but wins the game…..458-338 yard edge for South Alabama but they were (-2) in t/o margin.

Troy 38 Coastal Carolina 24 – Nice to see Troy finally get a win over an FBS squad as they haven’t given up on the season, they put the game away in the 2Q with three TDs and led 28-7 at half, 513-313 yard edge for Troy.

Betting review

“Official” plays / Larger plays

Minnesota -3 (W) – The Gophers were the better team and took control in the 4th quarter. It was a good sign when some “sharp action” came in on Illinois on Saturday (closed at -2.5/-3).

Baylor -3 (Push) – Baylor dominated in the trenches but needed a last play FG to win. “Sharp action” trickled in on TCU before kickoff (closed -2.5) which basically guaranteed us a win or ‘push’.

“Leans” / Regular plays

3-3. Late implosion by South Alabama was a KICK in the JACOBS but that’s life, yo

Hawaii over 5 – They’re 4-5 with three games remaining. Sweat time, bay-bee.

Temple under 2.5 – Owls have two wins already but the road ahead is tough.

Arizona St under 4.5 – LOSER. Congrats, Sun Devils!

Futures and Props Club

Oregon to win the Big Ten at +250 has some legs.

Miami to win the ACC at +450 looks like a decent grab. SMU at +2000 is certainly in play..

Iowa St +1000 to win the Big 12 is alive but an unexpected loss this week didn’t help.

Texas A&M at +2000 to win the SEC still has life. Could Ole Miss and ROLL TIDE get back into the picture? The SEC is CRAZY TOWN right now.

Western Michigan at +650 is alive as they’re the only undefeated team in MAC play. Miami Ohio (+240) is hitting their stride.

Oregon to win it all at +750, Georgia at +325, and Miami at +6600 all have proof of life.

Enjoy the games this week, PLAY SAFE, and we’ll talk to you on these pages after week 11!
