The Yankees are the pick to win the division according to our trusted AL East INSIDERS….Their lineup is RIDICULOUS but we are a wee bit concerned about the status of ace SP Severino who is temporarily (?) on the shelf….Their relievers are fantastic and don’t forget they set the MLB bullpen record for Ks per 9 innings last year (11.4)……They are projected to win a TON more games than people smarter than us believe so they seem like a good bet to take down the AL East….The Red Sox?…..Well as a Blue Jays’ fan it’s a harsh reality but there is a need to SUCK IT UP…..The Red Sox have championship pedigree and play at the amazing FENWAY PARK…..Having said that, Boston appears to have another STACKED batting order but we worry about the bullpen and the relative motivation compared to the Yankees…..When it comes to the Rays we are a bit skeptical about their offense BUT keep in mind that these guys are BEYOND CRAFTY and have a serious 1-2-3 in the SP rotation…..What can we say about our Blue Jays?……Things look pretty good for the year 2020 but this season feels like a LOST CAUSE…..When things start to really go in the TOILET they will sell all valuable veteran pieces…..The Orioles were PURE FILTH last season and will do well to win more than 60 games this season….We do wonder if they are really that much worse than Toronto.
