As noted on several previous occasions, weekly team totals are posted every Saturday in the FORUM and CHAT at around 11:00am. The server was very slow this past Saturday for about 55 minutes so I sent out the team totals via e-mail as a back-up plan. There are several reasons why the team totals are not usually sent via e-mail and those have been discussed at length for a few years in the discussion forum. In a nutshell, it’s because they come out late during the week and often not until Saturday morning. And not at every shop. And the team total lines can vary greatly. I do my best to post a line that most people can grab but things move fast at that time of day and everything gets hectic! Generally speaking, we want to avoid sending out e-mails to people potentially an hour before kickoff because not everyone plays these team totals and that notice would be very late (and potentially annoying) for many of our valued members. Our solution is to make it a self-serve process whereby if you are interested you can check it out. If you don’t want to check it out, or get upset that you can’t get lines that other people can get, just forget about it. There is nothing special about these picks. Some lose. More of them win. They just happen to be a favorite among long-time readers.
I have added the weekly team total selection results to the picks page (as it’s own category) so you can see how those are working in addition to the sides and totals that are sent via e-mail during the week (bold and underlined). I am working on revamping the picks page so you can see more information and filter the results that you care about the most. It’s coming! Sometimes working 24/7 on the site is not enough. LOL
Bottom line. Please take advantage of all the great ideas and content on the site. It’s the best value around and it’s NOT close. There are other handicappers (members!) doing a great job posting their picks and insight. We even have an FCS guru for those who can’t get enough football.
I put in a ton of work because I love what I do and am so thankful for all of you that have made this website possible.
