The Game
It has been a long time since this game actually meant something to Miami. Other than bragging rights. Florida St has dealt out the beatings recently (won 6 straight) and come into this game with two losses already on the docket. Miami is off to a nice 4-0 start but have not really been challenged this season. This is going to be a wake-up call for the Miami defense. Prime time action, yo !
Keep this in mind. Miami has already defeated WHO HAVE THEY PLAYED GUY and CROWD WILL BE ROCKING GUY in the same week. They ripped Appalachian St to pieces (a 782985723940 STAR MEGALOCKS winner). We will concede that Florida St has had a brutal schedule and they should not hang their heads over a loss to Louisville (no matter how it happened) and a last-second loss to UNC that should have never happened <open for discussion>.
The Match-Up

The Hurricanes offense has looked efficient and balanced. The competition has been light but the Seminoles defense has been pretty awful. So……we must assume that the 2-headed monster at RB for Miami (Mark Walton, Joseph Yearby) and the poised Brad Kaayayayaya at QB will be able to move the ball without much difficulty on Saturday night. Like it or not, that is what is in the cards. Florida St has been pretty much shredded all year. Losing star DB Derwin James did not help, and they have still given up 34,63,35,37 to the four FBS teams they have faced.

Miami better get ready. They know all about star RB Dalvin Cook, but rest assured, the Seminoles can also MATRICULATE in the passing game. QB Deondre Francois has looked really good sticking the ball in tight spots and making very few mistakes (2 INT all season). The biggest worry for Seminoles’ fans has to be the Florida St OL and the ability of Miami to get all kinds of PENETRATION on defense. Miami is ranked #1 in the ACC in sacks and tackles for loss. Florida St will have to hope that is indeed a case of the schedule being light and not the fact that Miami is awesome.
