The Game
It’s a battle between two traditional football powers on Saturday as BYU hosts Wisconsin in some sweet week 3 action. The Badgers pummeled a couple of patsies in the first two weeks winning by a combined score of 90-24. Meanwhile BYU beat something called Portland St in week 1 and then proceeded to struggle mightily vs LSU and Utah. This is the third straight tough game for the Cougars. Can they handle it ? The Match-Up
Wisconsin offense vs BYU defense
This should be a good match-up. BYU held up pretty well vs the traditional run last week vs Utah (another 989 STAR MEGALOCKS TOUT CRUSADER MAX UNIT BOMB WINNER) but could not handle the mobility of QB Tyler Huntley. Things should be a bit easier handling the QB this week BUT the ground attack of the Badgers is sure to pose some problems. EMERGING star RB Jonathan Taylor has 300 yards already this season at almost 9 (!) yards per carry. QB Alex Hornibrook is very CRAFTY and has the uncoverable Troy Fumagalli at his disposal. BYU is tougher than a $4 steak but we feel they will be challenged to hold Wisconsin to under 30 points.

Let’s deal with the elephant in the room first. QB Tanner Mangum is OUT this week (Q on injury reports – but our BYU INSIDERS tell us he is OUT) and that means something called Beau Hoge will be in at QB this week. Against Wisconsin. With no receivers that can gain separation. Uh oh. We have no idea what to expect this week but the best thing BYU can hope for is some turnovers and/or short fields and the odd big play to create points.
MEGA-MAZING MORSELS
Both teams have a bye next week…..BYU is without a conference home and needs to win as many games as possible and/or win a big one to get themselves in a better bowl than the Poulan Weedeater Bowl or the Fight Hunger Classic…..Wisconsin is 8-1 SU away under their current HC.
Summary
This game looks perfectly lined to us. We were really interested in the over until our BYU DEEP TRAINING STAFF INSIDERS alerted us to the QB change. It seems to us like the Vegas call of 29-12 is a pretty good estimate.
