MEGALOCKS Will Rogers Downs INSIDER says……#5 Caliche Ridge showed some early gusto last start and has a large pace advantage (at least on paper)….Very capable of going coast to coast….#7 World is 0-7 has destroyed the bankrolls of many punters (beaten fav in six of those seven races) but does have rock solid connections (Luzzi/Asmussen)…..#1 Cope’s Hope lost all chance at the start last race and note that he was bet down to 3-1…..Trainer A Gladd had a yuuuuuge 21-1 winner for us yesterday and note that he has a positive win place and show ROI so far at the meet (50%, 32%, 6%)……Might be worth a small stab.

MEGALOCKS Will Rogers Downs INSIDER says……Fun wide-open race to kick off the pick 5….Only seven horses entered but there are several legit contenders….#5 Consumerconfidence drops in class and comes in from OP with excellent trainer C Richard behind the scenes….#6 Cruman Tapote has a hot jockey (F Wethey Jr 24% wins at meet) and ALL-MEGALOCKS TRAINER TEAM member S Young calling the shots (28% wins this meet) and he will be dangerous if allowed to scamper clear early…..#7 Cougar County gets a nice jockey change to D Cabrera but we must point out that trainer K Broberg is off to a bit of a slow start this meet (3/26) whilst sporting a rough -68% ROI on the win end…..#2 Gimme Some Slack is an interesting option that could pass them all late….#1 Zilker is a longshot possibility to use for 3rd and 4th in vertical wagers….Didn’t like either of his last 2 starts but trainer B Davidson is great with turnbacks and is on a 6/27 run at this track at this distance (147% ROI).
UPDATE – Finished 7/5/6……Exciting finish. Our horses finish a tight 2nd and 3rd to the 4/5 fav. Great ride by D Cabrera on the winner to coax him home.

MEGALOCKS Will Rogers Downs INSIDER says……#8 Aloo Ghost makes his 2nd start for trainer Karl Broberg and ALL MEGALOCKS JOCKEY TEAM member D Cabrera is back in the saddle….Not crazy about the 1/16 lifetime mark…..#1 Daring Ego could be a SURPRISE PACKAGE from the rail as he shows a big wire to wire win at this track and distance and it’s 2nd start off a layoff….#2 Owen the Great made our Watch List off his last effort from an outside post….#4 Western Drawl has been working well and could spice up the trifecta and superfecta.
UPDATE – Finished 8/5/2/1….Ha. #1 and #2 battled the entire race up front and gave way late…..#8 scooped up the win with a big finish…..#5 was almost a SURPRISE PACKAGE winner.

MEGALOCKS Will Rogers Downs INSIDER says…….#3 November Mike makes his second start off a layoff, has good figs, and boasts rock solid connections (L Luzzi / S Young)…….Going to avoid #4 What Thinking for the win as he is a five year old with an 0/11 mark <crosses fingers>….We ended yesterday’s card with a 600 STAR FIRST TIME STARTER BOMB (12-1 winner) and are intrigued by both first time starters in here….#5 Bug Zapper has been working in BEAST MODE and #7 Froggy has good first time out breeding and jockey B Landeros is on a 15/58 run at this track/distance (67% ROI).
UPDATE – Finished 2/8/3/5………Much improved winner (#2) in his second start at scores at 9-1. #8 ran his eyeballs out at a billion to one…..#3 took too long to get into the race but no excuse……#5 was spotted well and had no answer.

MEGALOCKS Will Rogers Downs INSIDER says……Very chalky looking race….#1 Miltontown prevailed over #4 Taruca in a DING DONG BATTLE on March 17 and it seems very likely that one of these two will win this race…..#7 Afleet Sniper should be able to get a piece of the ticket given his closing kick and A+ connections (F Wethey Jr, J Pruitt).

MEGALOCKS Will Rogers Downs INSIDER says……#3 Champagne’s On Ice probably should have won last race and is now 0/8…..Still like the Diodoro/Kennedy combo a lot and trust this horse more than the #2 Go For Jim who is 0/7 without hitting the board in any of his seven starts….Trainer S Young is on a 2/18 run moving horses from turf to dirt (horrific ROI)….#8 Therunaway rocket drops in class and adds lasix for new trainer A Gladd….Good shot to go coast to coast…#1 Woods of Congaree made our Watch List last start but not sure he has the MINERALS to last.

MEGALOCKS Will Rogers Downs INSIDER says……Fun way to kick off the late PICK FOUR….#1 Hollywood Square has ace trainer R Diodoro in his corner (29% winners this meet) and has the ability to take this group all the way….#4 Nym has a very underrated trainer in K Craddock, is 2/3 at WRD, and gets WHITE HOT L Goncalves in the irons…..#5 Aggieville exploded the toteboard at 83-1 on March 23 and we graded that an “A” effort….Bombs don’t win too often back to back but note that the 3rd place finisher in that race came back to win yesterday.

MEGALOCKS Will Rogers Downs INSIDER says……This race should be wild, particularly the first fraction, as there is a lot of horses that like to GET MOVING early….#5 Nero should be situated just off a hot pace and comes in to this stakes race in fine form….Love the connections…..#1 Minister of Soul has one of the most impressive work tabs you will see but will likely be forced to gun for the lead from the rail and he will have a lot of competition for the top…..#6 Collusionist should be able to hit the bottom of the ticket given his late kick and this will be his 2nd start off a layoff.
UPDATE – It happens. Back to back races whose results were surprising. Congrats to punters who banked some $$. Our best bet had a GREAT setup and crapped the bed. No excuse. Donkey. <insert burning bankroll money bag>

MEGALOCKS Will Rogers Downs INSIDER says……Crazy way to end the day!…Wide open race….#10 Big Guy Ian booked an “A” rating in his last effort from our REPLAY WATCHING INSIDERS and would be a decent bet if not the betting favorite…..#8 Rocky Boy Indian has the best connections in the group (Diodoro, Kennedy) and is the horse to beat…..#1 Cheers and Prayers won two of his first three off the shelf at this track last year…..#4 Serious Talk gets the blinkers off and ace jockey F Wethey Jr aboard….Not sure he has the speed to win this tilt but he could spice things up by hitting the top-four…..#2 Cataroux could be a SURPRISE PACKAGE from inside and it’s his second start off a layoff.
