Hi everyone !
We HATE Top-10 lists in college football. What better way to celebrate our disgust with meaningless rankings than with our own Top 10 after week 2 ?
Things to keep in mind. This is according to our TOP SECRET COVERT RATINGS created deep within the MEGALOCKS SUPERCOMPUTER COMPLEX. They are NOT meant to represent what the media thinks or what Vegas thinks the spread would be in a fictional match-up. It is simply a representation of who WE believe the Top 10 teams are RIGHT NOW based on a neutral site game according to our numbers.
It is also critical to mention that our ratings change, fluctuate and PERCOLATE more than a typical set of ratings. We want to able to POUNCE when necessary and not wait multiple weeks for ratings to catch-up to performance. We use numbers as a basic starting point and do not make selections based solely on rankings or power ratings. We just like to have something to start with as we start the handicapping process.
With that said………..Here is our first edition !
- ROLL TIDE (‘Nuff said)
- Clemson (devastating defense; reload on offense)
- USC (over 300 yards rushing vs Stanford)
- Oklahoma (what a performance on Saturday)
- Penn St (best team in the Big 10 – it’s close though, yo)
- Washington (still high on these guys)
- Georgia (running and defense – who knew that would work ?)
- Oklahoma St (a believer in the Fighting Gundys; Big 12 may be sneaky good)
- Ohio St (running game still devastating)
- Florida St (even with the new QB; Defense is great)
So close you can smell it…..Michigan, Wisconsin, LSU, Auburn, Louisville, Kansas St

Who we were right about……..In no particular order
Kansas St – Just another player in a solid Big 12
Oregon – QUACK ATTACK is back; Congrats 10 DIMER NICKEL BANGER SEASON PREVIEW READERS
Purdue – Congrats team total over 2.5 backers (is that a jinx ?)
New Mexico St – Get to a bowl game !!
Eastern Michigan – On a mission – A MACtion mission
Buffalo – Don’t sleep on that defense
Didn’t see this coming………Randomly mentioned below
Notre Dame – Have a feeling they may be better than we thought
Duke – QB looking good as expected but did not predict the DEFENSE playing so well
West Virginia – No problem at QB
Sparty – It’s early but they look better than expected
On the PAIN TRAIN
Who we were right about……..In no particular order
Arkansas – Quickly sinking in SEC pecking order
Nebraska – Scrappy 2nd half vs Oregon but need more talent
BYU – MEGALOCKS COUGARS INSIDERS had them ranked even with Army before the season
Baylor – Glug glug glug……….
Charlotte – One step back before two steps forward

Northwestern – Destroyed by Duke – wut ?
Oregon St – Are they really this horrible ?
UTEP – Did not expect much but outlook feeling really ugly
