Hey everyone.
Here’s the Week 11 Boxscore and Wagering review.
Let’s goooooooo!
Boxscore review:
ACC
Georgia Tech 28 Miami 23 – WELL DESERVED win for the Yellow Jackets over YOUR Miami Hurricanes….Miami had the yardage edge 436-370 but that was irrelevant compared to Georgia Tech’s domination on the ground (271-88) and they were an incredible 9/14 on 3rd down whilst Miami was 3/10 on 3rd down and 1/4 on 4th down…..Miami is still in good shape in the ACC if they win their final two games (which isn’t a given; Wake Forest, at Syracuse) as they have the tiebreaker with Clemson (due to games vs LUA-VUH; Miami won, Clemson lost).
California 46 Wake Forest 36 – YUUUGE win for the Golden Bears as they move to 5-4 and just need one more win to make a bowl game….It was also their first ACC victory….Led 29-14 at the half…..Wake Forest +7 backers got a KICK in the JACOBS…..Wake cuts the lead to 39-36 late 4Q, Cal responds with a TD with a minute remaining to win by 10……500-386 yard edge for Cal and note that they were +3 in t/o margin.
Clemson 24 Virginia Tech 14 – Great game from the Clemson defense, 378-228 yard edge, VT led 7-zip at the half.
Notre Dame 52 Florida St 3 – Another stellar effort from Florida St who drops to 1-9, 453-208 yard edge for Notre Dame who have a yuuuuge game with undefeated Army in two weeks!…..Irish with 8 sacks which is the 2nd most they’ve ever had in one game.
Duke 29 NC State 19 – Blue Devils led 12-CACK early and NC State chased the rest of the way, 276-268 yard edge for Duke.
Virginia 24 Pittsburgh 19 – Pitt couldn’t bounce back off the SMU loss and now are DEAD TEAM WALKING in the ACC, 340-292 yard edge edge for the Cavs who outscored Pitt 17-6 in the 2nd half, both QBs played for Pitt and neither of them did well, Virginia moves to 5-4 and just might make a bowl game.
Boston College 37 Syracuse 31 – Competitive game that swung in favor of Boston College thanks to their 313-39 (!) yard edge on the ground, the Orange won the overall yardage battle 431-378 and Kyle McCord had a great game, 392, 2-0 TD to INT, NOTE that BC played most of the 2nd half without starting QB Thomas Castellanos who left due to injury.
Big 12
BYU 22 Utah 21 – Another CRAZY edition of the HOLY WAR!….Utah led 21-20, BYU stopped on 4th and 10 late at their own 1-yard line…..BUT WAIT….penalty on Utah….1st down BYU…..That’ll NEVER come back to haunt the Utes…..Oh look, BYU nails a 44-yard FG with 3 seconds left to win 22-21 and keep their undefeated record and Big 12 stranglehold intact, Utah went with a new starting QB in Brandon Rose who looked decent, 339-259 yard edge for BYU and note that they were +3 in t/o margin.
TCU 38 Oklahoma St 13 – The Horned Frogs led 24-CACK at half and that was that, Oklahoma St moves to 0-7 in Big 12 play, 468-368 yard edge for TCU and they were also +3 in t/o margin.
Kansas 45 Iowa St 36 – BOOM goes the dynamite……..Kansas finally puts it all together and they’re still alive for a bowl game if they keep on winning….532-461 yard edge for Kansas, Iowa St starting to crumble, yo.
West Virginia 31 Cincinnati 24 – Impressive road win for the Mountaineers who are still alive in the Big 12 race, They jumped out to a 24-7 lead, Bearcats cut it to 24-21, WV salts it away with a scoop and score with 3 min left, MAJOR misleading final ALERT, 436-248 yard edge and 24-9 1st down advantage for Cincinnati but they were (-2) in t/o margin and WV scored a pair of defensive TDs.
Arizona St 35 UCF 31 – Entertaining game, Arizona St takes the lead for good with 5 min left, Note that UCF had a 406-260 (!) yard edge and they outrushed Arizona St 177-99 who were without star RB Cam Skattebo.
Colorado 41 Texas Tech 27 – The Buffaloes can’t be stopped!….They’re now alone in 2nd place in the KOOKY Big 12, NOTE that Texas Tech had a 388-351 yard edge but they were (-3) in t/o margin.
Big Ten
UCLA 20 Iowa 17 – Nice work by UCLA as they come back from a 10-zip deficit….They’ve now won three in a row and sit at 4-5….UCLA with a significant 415-265 yard edge….Iowa QB Brendan Sullivan was a disappointment and threw 2 INT….They brought in something called Jackson Stratton in relief and he looked ok in the 2nd half…UCLA outrushed Iowa 211-80 !
Ohio St 45 Purdue 0 – Yup, the game went as planned, 433-206 yard edge for Ohio St, yuuuuge game looming vs Indiana in two weeks!

Rutgers 26 Minnesota 19 – 349-297 yard edge for Rutgers and they broke their 4-game losing streak….One more win and they’ll be bowl eligible.
Oregon 39 Maryland 18 – 363-289 yard edge for Oregon who didn’t destroy the Terrapins as planned but at this time of year you just need to win, bay-bee.
SEC
Ole Miss 28 Georgia 10 – Yes, guy…..Our boy Lane Kiffin finally gets the big win!….And Georgia is unfathomably close to missing out on the 12-team playoff….Georgia up 7-0 off an early interception and that was it for them….397-245 yard edge for the Rebels who are almost certainly gonna finish at 10-2 and make the CFP……Ole Miss QB Jaxson Dart hurt his ankle early but gutted it out, Backup QB Austin Simmons did a great job when Dart was in the injury tent and led a TD drive.
Texas 49 Florida 17 – Blowout city but Gators never quit and played without several key players and with a very inexperienced QB, Texas up 35-CACK at half, 562-329 yard edge.
ROLL TIDE 42 LSU 13 – Domination from the opening whistle, 271 rushing yards including 185 (!!) and 4 TDs from Jalen Milroe, LSU couldn’t get the THROW GAME going although the rain certainly didn’t help that at all in the first half, Both teams now part of the LOGJAM in 2nd place of the SEC with two conference losses.
Missouri 30 Oklahoma 23 – Serious congrats to a Missouri team that emerged victorious thanks to a 4th Q that had to be seen to be believed…278-257 yard edge for Missouri and they were +3 (!) in t/o margin….Oklahoma has to beat LSU or ROLL TIDE if they wanna make a bowl game….Have fun…..And speaking of that 4th quarter….It’s time to head to SHAWSHANK PRISON for a DOUBLE DOSE of pain and suffering and torture….First, if you had the ‘under 41.5’ you took a virtual ‘shiv’ to the kidney….The score was 10-9 after the 3Q with both teams looking awful on offense….How about 34 (!) 4th quarter points?….Congrats sharp ‘over’ backers!….And how could we forget Oklahoma -3/-3.5 supporters…..Game tied 16-16 (thanks to an earlier missed Missouri XP) with 2 minutes left…..Missouri has the ball looking for the win….FUMBLE!….Oklahoma scoop and score and it’s 23-16!..No way Missouri could drive 75-yards and tie it with Drew Pyne at QB!! Uh, oh what’s this….first down, amazing catch, first down, amazing catch TD!….Missouri ties it 23-23 but at least Oklahoma can either win the game in regulation or in OT….Less than a minute left just don’t do anything stupid….Uh oh, what’s this?….Sooners’ QB Jackson Arnold has no idea where he is or what he’s doing and FUMBLE!…Missouri scoop and score! Tigers win! No OVERTIME for YOU.

UConn 31 UAB 23 – YOUR Connecticut Huskies pull off a yuuuge comeback win! They were down 20-3 at the half (!) and 23-10 at the end of the 3Q…..How does 21-0 in the 4th quarter sound? UAB not only loses but fails to cover the +7.5….Definite SHAWSHANK action there, hopefully you got +8.5 if you backed UAB and your boy Trent Dilfer, 403-365 yard edge for UAB but they turned the ball over four times (-2 margin).

Futures and Props Club
Oregon to win the Big Ten at +250 looks decent; Apparent shoe-in to make the title game.
Miami to win the ACC at +450 looks good. They still control their own destiny in the ACC. SMU at +2000 looks great solid as they’re the last remaining undefeated team in the ACC with a soft schedule remaining.
Iowa St +1000 to win the Big 12 took a major hit this weekend and they’re not playing well. Still alive, but on life support.
Texas A&M at +2000 to win the SEC still has life. Could Ole Miss and ROLL TIDE get back into the picture? The SEC is CRAZY TOWN right now.
Western Michigan at +650 is alive but they need a win over Bowling Green this weekend. Miami Ohio (+240) is hitting their stride.
Oregon to win it all at +750, Georgia at +325, and Miami at +6600 all have proof of life. Georgia’s strength of schedule is excellent but they’ve gotta keep winning.
Enjoy the games this week, PLAY SAFE, and we’ll talk to you on these pages after week 12!
