Clemson 24 Pittsburgh 20 – Tough loss for Pitt as they battled back from 17-7 down to take a 20-17 lead with 1:30 left….Clemson QB Cade Klubnik wins the game with a 50-yard (!) TD run 20 seconds later…..Pitt played with their backup QB, lost quite a few bodies during the game, Pitt had a 438-346 yard edge but were (-1) in t/o margin and they had 13 penalties for 100 yards.
SMU 38 Boston College 28 – This was a battle, yo….SMU jumped out to a 17-7 lead, BC had the ball down 31-28 late but SMU stopped them on downs and scored a TD with 8 seconds left, 438-417 yard edge for the Mustangs.
Stanford 38 Louisville 35 – Crazy 4Q comeback for Stanford!…..LUA-VUH up 35-21 with 10 minutes left, Stanford ties it with 45 seconds left at 35-35….LUA-VUH turned it over on downs with 10 seconds left at the Stanford 45…..Looks like overtime is coming up…..Oh, WAIT!….LUA-VUH unsportsmanlike “I’m a tough guy” penalty puts Stanford in FG range and they hit a 52-yard FG at the buzzer, 432-406 yard edge for the Cardinals.
North Carolina 31 Wake Forest 24 – The Tar Heels have now won three in a row……Up by 14 and Wake Forest with a late TD to give their +10 backers some SWEET BACKDOOR ACTION…..362-354 yard edge for UNC and they were +2 in t/o margin.
Syracuse 33 California 25 – Surprising effort from the Orange who went deep into hostile communist territory to get a road win over a tough opponent…..Syracuse led 27-7 at the half, 471-391 yard edge for the Orange and they were +2 in t/o margin…..Cal is 5-5 and need one more win to get to a bowl game.
Notre Dame 35 Virginia 14 – Notre Dame led 28-CACK at the half but Virginia came back and gave it to Notre Dame -22 backers MAYOR OF KINGSTOWN PRISON STYLE……Meaningless TD with 18 seconds left just so they could lose by 21…..448-300 yard edge for the Irish, yuuuge game with Army up next!
Big 12
Arizona 27 Houston 3 – Cats break their 5-game losing skid with a dominating win, 341-326 yard edge for Arizona and they were +2 in t/o margin, Houston was a combined 2/17 on 3rd and 4th down.
Colorado 49 Utah 24 – WHOA, NELLIE….Another impressive win for the Buffs who almost hung FIDDY on Utah…..21 points in the 4Q to salt the game away, 405-272 yard edge, teams combined for 7 turnovers (4-3 Utah).
Arizona St 24 Kansas St 14 – How many teams go roll into Manhattan at night and roll out to a 21-CACK lead?…..412-398 yard edge for Kansas St and they tried to claw back into it, Arizona St was +2 in t/o margin, Kansas St is out of the Big 12 race, the Sun Devils are still very much alive.
Iowa St 34 Cincinnati 17 – Game was tied 10-10 at the half, Cyclones dominated the 2nd half, 386-353 yard edge for the Cyclones who are hanging on by a thread in the Big 12.
Baylor 49 West Virginia 35 – Yes, guy….Baylor with a four-game winning streak and they had 35 points at the half, 512-499 yard edge for the Bears, Garrett Greene was back at QB for West Virginia.
Kansas 17 BYU 13 – Down goes BYU….They won the yardage battle 354-242 and held Kansas to just 73 yards on the ground but fell a bit short, BYU still controls their own destiny in the Big 12.
Big Ten
Washington 31 UCLA 19 – Still trying to get used to putting this game under the “Big Ten” banner…..The BIG story in this game was the play of Huskies’ backup QB Demond Williams Jr who played great after replacing Will Rogers…..319-306 yard edge for UCLA, each team with two turnovers.
Ohio St 31 Northwestern 7 – The Cats got the first TD of the game and that was it for them….420-251 yard edge for Ohio St, yuuuge game with Indiana up next!
Oregon 16 Wisconsin 13 – The Ducks had to fight for it but they move to 11-0! Bye week up next and then a home date with Washington…..The Badgers led 10-6 at the half but only scored 3 points in the 2nd half, 354-226 yard edge….Oregon is off to the Big Ten title game!
Penn St 49 Purdue 10 – Total demolition as expected, 539-302 yard edge, 234 rush, 305 pass.
USC 28 CORN 20 – The Trojans shiny new QB had a good first start….Jayden Maiava 259 pass 3 TD, 20 rush, TD…..21-20 USC and they took an eight point lead with a few minutes left….444-310 yard edge for USC, Is it possible for Nebraska to keep NEBRASKA-ING and miss a bowl game?
Rutgers 31 Maryland 17 – Nice job by Rutgers and they become bowl eligible!….Maryland had the 457-375 yard edge and led 17-14 in the 3Q and then fell apart.
Illinois 38 Michigan St 16 – Bit of a misleading final as Illinois had a 370-345 yard edge and neither team had a turnover, Michigan St was 2/15 on 3rd down and Illinois was 8/15, Michigan St with 73 penalty yards, Illinois with 20.
SEC
Georgia 31 Tennessee 17 – Impressive win for the Bulldogs as they fell behind 10-CACK but stormed back…..Tennessee shut out in the 2nd half….453-319 yard edge for Georgia.
Texas 20 WOO PIG 10 – Big game from the Texas defense, 315-231 yard edge and +2 in t/o margin for the Longhorns, WOO PIG gave the ball away with about 7 minutes left and Texas ran the rest of the clock out!
Florida 27 LSU 16 – The Gators keep playing hard!….Big win in the SWAMP and they just might make it to a bowl game (5-5)…..392-339 yard edge for LSU and and they were a combined 15/26 (!) on 3rd and 4th down, not sure how they lost the game by 11 points but they did.
South Carolina 34 Missouri 30 – Missouri down 21-6 at the half but they kept on digging and actually took a 30-27 lead with a minute left….Gusty drive by the COCKS to snatch VICTORY from the JAWS OF DEFEAT…..TD with 15 seconds left….462-381 yard edge for South Cackalacky but they were held to just 109 rush yards by a stingy Tigers defense, note that Brady Cook was back at QB for Missouri.
Texas A&M 38 New Mexico St 3 – Dominating win, 565-214 yard edge, Tune-up before games with Auburn and Texas!
Auburn 48 ULM 14 – Auburn led 24-CACK at the half, 507-218 yard edge.

UTSA 48 North Texas 27 – UTSA up 27-7 at the half, Mean Green cut it to 33-27, UTSA responded with two TDs to close it out…681-480 yard edge for the Roadrunners, 302 rush and 379 pass, Under 71.5 backers took it GITMO STYLE as the game was 27-7 midway thru the 3Q, game lands on 73.
East Carolina 38 Tulsa 31 – the ARRRRRRRRRRRRR Pirates are off to a bowl game!…..Tied 17-17 at the half, and Tulsa led 31-24 at one point in the 4Q….536-399 yard edge for East Carolina but they were (-2) in turnover margin.
Tulane 35 Navy 0 – The Green Wave laid a beating on Navy and clinched a spot in the AAC title game (vs Army; location TBD), 358-113 yard edge for Tulane who didn’t let Navy get anything going on offense, they outrushed the Midshipmen 220-100.
Memphis 53 UAB 18 – UAB hung around for a while but Memphis scored 28 points in the 4Q, 526-352 yard edge for Memphis and note that they were +4 in t/o margin.
USF 59 Charlotte 24 – WOW! What a 2nd half for the Bulls, 14-10 at the half and then South Florida scored 45 points in the 2nd half, 551-347 yard edge for South Florida and they outrushed the 49ers 425-91!, Charlotte is eliminated from bowl contention, USF (5-5) needs one more victory for a bowl bid.
Temple 18 FAU 15 (OT) – Owls tied the game with a TD and two-point conversion with 34 seconds left, Temple wins the game in OT, FAU with a disaster of a season (2-8), Temple moves to 3-7, 348-317 yard edge for the Owls.
CUSA
Liberty 35 UMass 34 (OT) – Tough loss for the feisty Minutemen…..They led at one point 20-7, game tied 28-28 goes into OT, UMass scores a TD but miss the XP, Liberty gets a TD and makes their XP…..426-425 yard edge for UMass and they were +2 in t/o margin.
Louisiana Tech 12 WKU 7 – Great game from the Bulldogs defense! They won the game without scoring a TD and a disgusting loss for the TOPPERS, 275-215 yard edge for Louisiana Tech and they outrushed WKU 209-63, held WKU to 152 passing yards.
Jacksonville St 34 FIU 31 – Another tough defeat for FIU vs a top player in CUSA, 445-431 yard edge for Jacksonville St who are now alone atop the CUSA pecking order, The COCKS ended the scoring with a 56 yard TD run with 10 minutes left.
Sam Houston 23 Kennesaw St 17 (OT) – Sam Houston was happy to escape with an OT win and Kennesaw St becomes just the latest team to put up a great effort after firing their HC, 382-243 yard edge for Sam Houston who stay alive in the CUSA hunt.
MAC
Ohio 35 Eastern Michigan 10 – The Bobcats continue to roll and they’re in a three-way tie atop the conference…..434-266 yard edge for Ohio and they were +3 in t/o margin.
Northern Illinois 29 Akron 16 – NIU jumped out to a 17-6 lead in the first quarter…..Akron cut the lead to 17-16…..NIU pulled away again, 440-256 yard edge for the Huskies and they had 296 yards on the ground, Akron falls to 2-8, NIU is off to a bowl game (6-4).
Miami Ohio 34 Kent St 7 – 5th consecutive win for Miami Ohio and they’re also in a tie atop the MAC standings…..Kent St scored the first TD of the game and that was it for them…..479-183 yard edge for Miami Ohio, 277 rush and 202 pass.
Toledo 37 Central Michigan 10 – Rockets led 27-3 at the half, Bit of a misleading final as they had a mere 299-236 yard edge but were +5 (!) in t/o margin.
Bowling Green 31 Western Michigan 13 – Impressive win for the Falcons who are the third team with just one loss in conference action…..404-293 yard edge for BG, Broncos could only manage 96 (!) yards on the ground.
Buffalo 51 Ball St 48 (OT) – WHOA, NELLIE, Didn’t have to sweat that ‘over’, yo….Ball St led 45-31 in the 4Q but blew the game in true MACtion style!…..Buffalo sent it into OT with a TD and two-point conversion with under two minutes remaining….520-470 yard edge for Ball St and they were +2 in t/o margin, Bulls are now bowl eligible (6-4) and still mathematically alive in the MAC race.
Mountain West
Colorado St 24 Wyoming 10 – Don’t look now but Colorado St just needs to win their L2G and they’re off to the Mountain West title game…..Wyoming was never a threat, 24-3 midway thru 4Q, 446-237 yard edge for the Rams.
Boise St 42 San Jose St 21 – Boise St continues their run for a Mountain West title and CFP berth….San Jose St had a 483-456 yard edge and threw for 446 (!) yards…..And now it’s time for our weekly visit to SHAWSHANK PRISON where you never know when you might take a makeshift knife, or a “shiv”, to the kidney area….San Jose St +14.5 backers must have felt like they spent a week in the HOLE after this game….They lead 14-0 early!….+28.5 to the spread….LOCK this baby up!….21-21 3Q…..What a smart and sharp pick!….28-21 Boise St after 3Q…..Boise St gets a TD with 2 minutes left to go up 35-21….Thankfully, San Jose St is still a LOCK down by 14 catching +14.5 as they get the ball and have moved up and down the field at will all game long…..Oh no, what’s this?….PICK SIX….Boise St 70-yard INT return with 1:42 left to go up by 21…..But there’s still hope! San Jose gets the ball again down by 21…..They’re driving!….To the Boise 45………To the Boise 12!….They’re gonna cover!!….Down to the 1-yard line!! They’re gonna do it what a miracle for San Jose St bettors……Oh, no what’s this?….SACK. Game over. Sharp Boise St backers get the money! Game over. Start the cars. Drive safe!
Air Force 28 Oregon St 0 – BOOM….Air Force is back, buh-buh. 410-175 yard edge for the Falcons, outrushed Oregon St 271-69.
UNLV 41 San Diego St 20 – Rebels led 28-6 at the half, 515-270 yard edge, UNLV needs help to get in the MW title game as they’re one game behind Boise St and Colorado St (!).
Utah St 55 Hawaii 10 – Another example of how you can never trust Hawaii away from home, yo…..580-309 yard edge for Utah St, Hawaii had 5 turnovers (-3).
New Mexico 38 Washington St 35 – That is some SWEET ACTION!….New Mexico with their first win over a ranked opponent in two decades and they’re one win away from making a bowl game!……Star QB Devon Dampier with the winning TD run with just 21 seconds left in the game, 547-534 yard edge for Washington St.
Sun Belt
Marshall 31 Coastal Carolina 19 – The Herd win their 4th game in a row and stand alone atop the Sun Belt East standings, MISLEADING FINAL ALERT at the Chants outgained the Herd 391-254 but they were (-3) in turnover margin and Marshall had a blocked FG return TD.
Troy 28 Georgia Southern 20 – Another impressive win for Troy who’ve finally turned things around!….Dominating performance 441-246 yard edge, QB Matthew Caldwell 26/32 288, 2 TD 0 INT.
James Madison 35 Old Dominion 32 – Very entertaining game…..JMU led 18-7, ODU took the lead back 24-21 at the half, James Madison pulled away in the 2nd half, ODU gave their +3 backers a semi-miracle push with a TD and two-point conversion with 58 seconds remaining, 425-363 yard edge for the Dukes who are still alive in the Sun Belt East race.
Arkansas St 27 Georgia St 20 – AWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! The Red Wolves are going bowling….Georgia St with a 411-358 yard edge but they were (-2) in turnover margin and have now lost seven in a row after defeating……wait for it…..Vanderbilt!
Texas St 58 Southern Miss 3 – WHOA, NELLIE…..Bobcats with an impossible 703-194 yard edge, 266 rush and 437 pass, Golden Eagles drop to 1-9.
South Alabama 24 Louisiana 22 – Those scrappy Jaguars pull off the upset!…..They led 24-3 at half but had to hold off a furious rally from the Cajuns…..Louisiana cut the lead to two points with a minute left but missed the two-point conversion, 413-353 yard edge for the Cajuns and they held South Alabama to just 68 rush yards which is very impressive.

Vanderbilt over 2.5 – WINNER! They’ve got six wins and are heading to a bowl game!
Indiana over 5.5 – WINNER! 10-0 to start the season.
Troy under 6.5 – WINNER! They’ve already lost seven games.
Navy over 5.5 – WINNER! Seven wins so far.
Connecticut over 4.5 – WINNER! Seven wins and heading to a bowl game!
Arkansas St over 6 – Red Wolves are 6-4 and we’ve got a ‘push’ with two games left. Two winnable home games to end the season.
Michigan St over 4.5 – Four wins so far. Hopefully they can book one more in their final two contests. A home game with Purdue is on deck.
Louisiana Tech under 5 – Bulldogs are 4-6 and one of their remaining games is on the road vs Arkansas so we should get at least a ‘push’ out of this play.
FIU over 4 – Sitting at 3-7 after nine games. They’ve lost close ones to Liberty, Sam Houston, and Jacksonville St. They’ve got two horrible teams up next so we should still get at least a ‘push’.
Hawaii over 5 – They’re 4-7 and need to beat New Mexico at home in the final week of the regular season to get us a ‘push’.
Temple under 2.5 – LOSER. Owls win their last “winnable” game in OT this week. Then they fire their HC. HOOT HOOT! Congrats to the Owls.
Arizona St under 4.5 – LOSER. Congrats, Sun Devils!
Futures and Props Club
Oregon to win the Big Ten at +250 looks decent; They’ve clinched a spot in the title game.
Miami to win the ACC at +450 looks good. They still control their own destiny. SMU at +2000 looks solid as they’re the last remaining undefeated team in the ACC with a soft schedule remaining.
Iowa St +1000 to win the Big 12 is still alive but on life support.
Texas A&M at +2000 to win the SEC still has life. ROLL TIDE (+700) appears to be golden to make the big game if they win their last two games.
Miami Ohio (+240) is hitting their stride. Western Michigan (+650) needs to win out and see how the tiebreaker shakes out.
Oregon to win it all at +750, Georgia at +325, and Miami at +6600 all have proof of life. Get three teams into the dance and see what happens, yo.
