Iowa 33 Illinois 23 – misleading final, Illinois wins yardage battle 312-255, SHOCKER……Iowa gets another TWO non-offensive TDs…..Illinois late meaningless TD with 30 sec left for some SWEET BACKDOOR ACTION reminiscent of the meadow scene in the classic film FRISKY FINNISH FARMHANDS

Pitt 48 Virginia 38 – 514-509 yd edge Pitt, B Armstrong played for VA – 487 yds 3 TD, Pitt 5 sacks, competitive game but only lead Cavs had was 7-zip

Notre Dame 55 Ga Tech 0 – 514-224 yd edge, led 24-CACK after 1st Q, J Yates QB for GT, Irish have covered 6 straight

Liberty 42 Louisiana 14 – misleading final, Louisiana just 296-293 yd edge but were +6 (!) in t/o and had 7 sacks, still an impressive win in sneaky-tough place to play

Army 33 UMass 17 – 419-277 yd edge, not as dominant as planned, also were +3 in t/o, still didn’t come close to covering yuuuuge spread

Houston 31 Memphis 13 – 461-322 yd edge, still unbeaten in AAC play, clinch berth in AAC title game vs Cincy

Tulsa 44 Temple 10 – 513-293 yd edge, Owls have failed to cover in 6 straight

Hawaii 50 Colorado St 45 – lots of offense, yo, 651-535 yd edge for Rams, trailed 29-10 at half, 28 points in 4th Q but couldn’t complete the comeback, teams combined for 933 pass yds

San Diego St 28 UNLV 20 – 394-290 yd edge for Rebels, SD St led 21-20 after 3Q, QB Justin Rogers looked good for Rebels after getting into the game, 372 pass yds for UNLV

App St 45 Troy 7 – 445-142 yd edge, Mountaineers in fine form, Troy greases head coach after game

Coastal Carolina 35 Texas St 21 – 498-301 yd edge, note that QB G McCall is back, looked good 319 yds 5 TD

Georgia St 28 Arkansas St 20 – 434-270 yd edge, Panthers have won 5L6G

UTSA 34 UAB 31 – Roadrunners stay undefeated!…..474-375 yd edge and they were tied on in the lead for the vast majority of the game……UTSA wins on TD with 3 sec left and gives it to UAB ML backers PULP FICTION GIMP style

Eastern Michigan 22 Western Michigan 21 – Trailed 21-9, WM won yardage battle 485-422 but (-2) in t/o…..Eagles hopefully clinched a MAC bowl bid with their 7th win

Toledo 35 Ohio 23 – Rockets led 28-9, very even statistical game, 445-401 yd edge for Ohio, Toledo +1 in t/o, BOBS 30-18 first down edge, Rockets +5 in net sacks

Miami Ohio 34 Bowling Green 7 – 346-258 yd edge and 8 sacks for Redhawks

Central Michigan 34 Ball St 17 – dominant, 567-329 yd edge for FIRE UP CHIPS, 285 rush 282 pass, they’re +61 vs Vegas L3G
