Pitt 48 Virginia 38 – 514-509 yd edge Pitt, B Armstrong played for VA – 487 yds 3 TD, Pitt 5 sacks, competitive game but only lead Cavs had was 7-zip

Hawaii 50 Colorado St 45 – lots of offense, yo, 651-535 yd edge for Rams, trailed 29-10 at half, 28 points in 4th Q but couldn’t complete the comeback, teams combined for 933 pass yds

San Diego St 28 UNLV 20 – 394-290 yd edge for Rebels, SD St led 21-20 after 3Q, QB Justin Rogers looked good for Rebels after getting into the game, 372 pass yds for UNLV

App St 45 Troy 7 – 445-142 yd edge, Mountaineers in fine form, Troy greases head coach after game

Coastal Carolina 35 Texas St 21 – 498-301 yd edge, note that QB G McCall is back, looked good 319 yds 5 TD
