Here’s the Week 15 Boxscore and Wagering review.
This will be the last post of this kind for 2024. We’ll do a final recap of how things went for the entire portfolio (official picks, leans, ML Underdogs, Season Win Totals, Futures) after the season. THANKS so much for reading!

Clemson 34 SMU 31 – WHOA, NELLIE! What a wild 2nd half…..Clemson cruised to a 24-7 halftime lead….The Mustangs stormed back in the 2nd half and tied the game 31-31 with 16 seconds left!….Hey, were going to OT unless SMU does something stupid like kick the ball deep…..Oh look, SMU kicked the ball deep…..We’re still going to OT unless they let Clemson complete an uncontested catch to get into FG range with 3 seconds left….Oh look, an uncontested catch to get into FG range….We’re still going to OT unless this guy nails a 56-yard FG….BOOM, it’s good! Clemson wins!….. 458-326 yard edge for SMU, Clemson was +2 in t/o margin.

Arizona St 45 Iowa St 19 – Blowout win for the Sun Devils!….They led 24-10 at the half and then blew the game open in the 3rd quarter thanks to the Cyclones turning the ball over on three consecutive possessions…..Arizona St’s star RB Cam Skattebo rushed for 170 yards and 2 TDs…..467-341 yard edge for the Sun Devils.

Big Ten
Oregon 45 Penn St 37 – Wildly entertaining game and QUACK QUACK finishes on top!…..31-24 at the half for Oregon and they held Penn St safe in the 2nd half…..523-469 yard edge for Penn St who played their best offensive game since….???….The Reagan Administration??…..297 rushing yards and 226 thru the air for the Nittany Lions…..Oregon did ok on the ground but relied heavily on the clutch play of star QB Dillon Gabriel (283, 4 TD) and game MVP WR Tez Johnson (11-181, TD).

Oregon vs Tennessee/Ohio St (Rose Bowl, Jan 1)
SEC
Georgia 19 Texas 16 (OT) – You can’t kill the mighty Georgia Bulldogs!…Texas dominated the first half but could only manage to build a 6-3 lead….Georgia played much better in the 2nd half behind backup (!!) QB Gunner Stockton and RB Trevor Etienne (2 TDs)….Sharp effort from Texas QB Quinn Ewers (358, TD, 2 INT) but they couldn’t get anything going on the ground (31 net rushing yards)…..Bulldogs emerged victorious in OT and won another SEC title……389-277 yard edge for Texas but they had 11 penalties (Georgia had 5) and 3 turnovers (Georgia with 2).

Army 35 Tulane 14 – YUUUGE win for the Army Black Knights!….Tulane misses a couple of FGs early (bad snap, miss) and looked lethargic overall….Army jumped out to a 21-zip lead and that was that….355-324 yard edge for Army including 338 yards on the ground (6.1 YPC).

Jacksonville St 52 WKU 12 – Total bloodbath and big win for the Gamecocks program!…..562-229 yard edge including 386 yards on the ground.

Ohio 38 Miami Ohio 3 – The Redhawks scored first and then it was all Ohio in an amazing and dominating performance….The Bobcats won their first MAC Championship since 1968!….468-190 yard edge for Ohio and they outrushed Miami Ohio 233-63….Miami QB Brett Gabbert was held completely in check…..14/25 127 yards, 0-1 TD to INT.

Mountain West
Boise St 21 UNLV 7 – Excellent game from the Boise St defense as the Rebels couldn’t get anything going…..Broncos led 21-CACK heading into the final frame….Broncos with 6 sacks……Star RB Ashton Jeanty 32-209, TD….376-327 yard edge for Boise St…..Rebels with five penalties and a turnover, Boise St had one penalty and zero turnovers.

UNLV vs California (LA Bowl, Dec 18)
Sun Belt
Marshall 31 Louisiana 3 – Another excellent performance from Marshall QB Braylon Braxton (193 pass, 2 TD; 66 rush) and the defense played lights out!….That’s seven wins in a row for the Herd….415-256 yard edge for Marshall and they outrushed the Cajuns 222-57.
