Cincinnati 29 SMU 27 – misleading final, 379-259 yd edge, 6 sacks, held PONY UP DALLAS to 179 pass yards…..the PULP FICTION GIMP tortures Cincy -3 backers…..up by 15 with 8 min left…Cincy FG to take 18 point lead…..WHOA it’s blocked…oh well…no way SMU can come back with back-up QB…..oh wait….trick play…..inside the 5…..TD SMU 29-21…..oh well….cover still looks good for Bearcats…..uh oh SMU gets ball back…..no worries…RUH ROH….hot knife thru butter and personal foul fun…..TD….29-27…..maybe SMU can make 2-point conversion to tie it so Cincy can cover or push in OT……uh oh….missed 2 pt conversion…..SMU covers…..thanks for coming….see you next week! remember to stay 6 feet apart!

Tulane 38 Memphis 28 – crazy game – Green Wave up 35-0 CACK (!) at half…..Memphis wins 2nd half 28-3…..Memphis had 415-344 yd edge but were (-4) in t/o

Virginia 16 Georgia Tech 9 – 410-206 yd edge for Cavs….Tech gets early Pick6….but stop us if you’ve hear this before…..starting QB injured…..couldn’t do anything all game….Virginia with a whopping 8 sacks, keep tabs on health of GT starting QB J Sims
Clemson 27 Syracuse 21 – Orange up 21-10 at half, Clemson rallies behind back-up QB, 450-291 yd edge for Tigers but had 4 t/p (-3)
Louisville 24 Pitt 10 – Panthers up 10-7 after 3Q, LUA-VUH 17-0 4th Q, 326-312 yd edge Pitt, Cards +3 in t/o certainly helped
Duke 45 Miami 21 – YOUR Miami Hurricanes were up 21-17 early 3Q….what could go wrong?….Well, in a turn of events reminiscent of the final scene of THE PIPE FITTER….Canes end up with 8 (!) turnovers and allow 6 sacks in 45-21 slaughter to the FIGHTING CHRISTIAN LAETTNERS….starting QB T Van Dyke appears to have serious shoulder injury

Baylor 35 Kansas 23 – 437-288 yd edge, 273 rush yds, up 28-3 at half had to hang on for the cover
Oklahoma St 41 Texas 34 – 535-523 yd edge for Pokes, Texas led 31-17, picks up 3rd loss and 2nd conference defeat, Pokes still have just one Big 12 defeat….Texas 14 penalties…Pokes? ZERO

S Carolina 30 Texas A&M – as we talked about this week…the COCKS love to pull special teams miracles out of their HOO HOO….opening kick TD return….led 17-3….Aggies chased all game and had 398-286 yd edge but couldn’t catch up
LSU 45 Ole Miss 20 – 500-404 yd edge for Tigers, 252 rush 248 pass, Rebels led 17-3 and after that is was LSU 42-3 (!)
Missouri 17 Vanderbilt 14 – 308-299 yd edge for Tigers but (-3) in t/o and had to hang on for win

Appalachian St 42 Georgia St 17 – Panthers got up 14-CACK and then GLUG GLUG GLUG…..App St dominates the rest of the way, 466-301 yd edge, +3 in t/o and whopping 404 yards on the ground, also booked six sacks
Troy 10 South Alabama 6 – Yuuuuge win for Troy in the Sun Belt West race and for MEGALOCKS FUTURES CLUB….even game 266-255 yd edge for Jags, Troy defense just a bit better
Army 48 ULM 24 – 482-349 yd edge, 441 rush yds
Marshall 26 James Madison 12 – impressive win off bad game, 326-247 yd edge, forced 5 t/o (+2)
Georgia Southern 28 Old Dominion – led pretty much start to finish…..461-415 yd edge for Monarchs, Eagles ran ball 50 times (#1 pass off in the BELT)
